Cottage Description

Based in the centre of Edinburgh, not far from the New Town, this three bedroom cottage can sleep five people and is ideal for a city break.

Soaking up the real atmosphere of Edinburgh's new town allows this property to offer a superb position in Scotland's capital. Located in Gloucester Square, this town accommodation is close to Princes Street and Stockbridge. It is wonderfully furnished and presented.

The ground floor is spacious and has a recently fitted dining/kitchen room and there is also an en suite shower. A separate family bathroom holds a bath and a shower. The living room has a lovely desk and comfy sofas.

The house itself is only a short walk from the shopping centre of Edinburgh on Princes Street with all its brand name stores. There is also the popular 'village' of Stockbridge with a range of restaurants, bars and food shops. Dean Valley is also an understated attraction offering a visually stunning walk along the Water of Leith. Anthony Gormley sculptures litter the river.

Locally, there is the chance to try some ice skating, fishing, tennis, hiking, golf, mountain biking, walking and swimming. Edinburgh town centre also offers a theatre and fantastic shopping options.

Consisting of one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom, this property holds plenty of sleeping space. It has a ground floor toilet, shower and bath. There is a TV, DVD player, games and books. An iron, ironing board, bed linen, towels, fuel, power, cot and high chair are all included. Wireless broadband is available. Unfortunately, smoking is not allowed.

The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, toaster and a grill. There is a garage available for car parking.
