Cottage Description

This glorious property is based in the Scottish Borders. It has one bedroom but can sleep up to four people if necessary. The scenery that surrounds the property is absolutely stunning.

Only a short walk from the wonderful Borders scenery, this accommodation could not be better placed. It has a south facing conservatory so you have the sun right through the day. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't always rain in Scotland!

Hume Castle is a grand day out and the lanes around Burnbrae are perfect if you fancy a cycling trip through some delightful countryside. Kelso is also the venue for some fantastic horse racing. If you want something that will get the adrenalin pumping then mountain biking at Glentress is a good shout.

Surrounded by countryside, this property is clearly looked after and offers considerate living. The owners live on the site and spend their time making sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The cottage is airy and spacious but remains a home away from home. The dining area allows access to the conservatory that holds stunning views over the river, Cheviot Hills and Tweed Valley. The border of England and Scotland is also in sight.

There is so much to do in the local area including visiting a local Roman encampment, witnessing the pipe bands at Floors Castle and not to mention the array of castles, abbeys and stately homes worth visiting to gain a better understanding of the history of the region.

Locally, guests can enjoy some angling, try out some of the golf courses, visit some of the striking coastal areas and even get involved in some horse riding and hiking.

This property possesses one double bedroom. It has a TV, DVD player, CD player and books for guests to read during their stay. There is a ground floor toilet, bath and a shower. An iron, ironing board, bed linen, fuel, power, towels, high chair and cot are included. Wireless broadband is also supplied.

There is an outdoor area with sun loungers. The wood burner guarantees a cosy ambience all year long. The kitchen comes with a microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, hob, grill and oven. Covered parking is available.
