Mungo's Well has a south facing conservatory and this is fantastic for relaxing in with a book or just to enjoy some socialising at any time of day. The property is very spacious whilst the Cheviot Hills and Tweed Valley are right on your doorstep. There is an abundance of wildlife close at hand as well with the pond and river right next to the property.

This property is set right in the soul of the Scottish Borders whilst still remaining only a 40 minute drive from the Scottish capital city of Edinburgh. There is plenty of coastal scenery to enjoy along with the Borders towns, Ettrick Hills and Cheviot itself. Mellerstain and Floors Castle are also worth a visit close by.

The town of Kelso is only a few miles away and has a lovely square, historic abbey ruins and lots of unique shops that you will love perusing. There are also a lot of places to have some lunch or dinner.

This property is fine for individuals with mobility difficulties. There are laundry facilities on-site and guests can learn all about the textile heritage of the area as well as become familiar with works of art that have been inspired by the Scottish Borders.

The local area also has plenty to offer guests including fishing, hiking, golf, cycling, horse riding and walking. All of which guests can get involved in within a 20 minute drive from the property.

This property includes one double bedroom. It has a TV, DVD player, CD player and books for guests to enjoy during their stay. There is a ground floor toilet, bath and a shower. An iron, ironing board, bed linen, towels, fuel, power, cot and a high chair are supplied. There is no smoking permitted within the property. Wireless broadband is available.

The wood burner provides a cosy ambience. There is an outdoor area that has sun loungers. The kitchen comes with a microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, grill and a toaster. Covered parking is available.
