The tranquil setting allows the property to enjoy views across the countryside to the renowned Arthur's Seat and the firth of forth to fife. On the ground floor of this farm cottage is a comfortable sitting room with an open fire and a separate spacious dining room. The well-appointed farmhouse style kitchen has a breakfast room off it and contains a fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. On the first floor, there is a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. The separate modern bathroom has a freestanding bath and hand shower. Outside there is a private enclosed garden to the rear, with a patio area, a lovely water feature and outdoor furniture. Excellent amenities can be found locally, including Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre and the railway station with a park and ride facility. Buses run day and night to the city centre, where guests can visit Edinburgh castle, Holyrood House and the Scottish parliament buildings. This property is surprisingly spacious and has been furnished with a mix of modern and traditional fittings. The century old farm cottage enjoys fantastic views and is located in an idyllic setting. There is oil-fired central heating and an open fire. There is full electricity and the cottage has two colour TV's and a DVD player.
