As can be ascertained from its name, this property has a past use as a coach house, but is now a super holiday property, constructed of a lovely local stone, and retaining exposed beams as well as the added bonus of a balcony off the master bedroom providing marvellous Sugar Loaf Mountain views.

Set within the grounds belonging to the owner's home, you are only one mile from pretty Glwern. The two bedrooms are a twin and a king sized double with small balcony. Spacious living room that has an open fire and dining area. Fitted kitchen.

You will great local touring taking in the medieval market town of Abergavenny and the majesty of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Two car off road parking, regret no smoking, one well behaved dog allowed (refundable £50.00 deposit requested on arrival in relation to a dog), dogs must be under strict control at all times. Outdoor furniture for use in small mature garden, also shared use of owner's garden by prior arrangement. Ten minutes walk to pub and shop.

The Brecon Beacons covers over five hundred square miles and offers super walking, hiking and bird watching, as well as superb trout and salmon fishing on the adjacent River Usk. Gilwern is surrounded by the Park, and also boasts a marvellous fish and chip shop.

Named the "Gateway to Wales", Abergavenny boasts indoor and outdoor markets, museums and a superb castle. Explore the Sugar Loaf Mountain and enjoy the fruits of the vineyard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House where we received a warm welcome. The house is a perfect base for exploring the Brecons and close enough to South Wales to do a beech trip. Our city children loved running around in the massive back garden. The house was perfectly equipped and above all, nice and clean. We plan to return next year. The character of the building was fabulous, loved the open fire and the layout.
