The The Old School property comprises of a Spacious and extremely comfy beamed open plan sitting room with wood burner and well appointed kitchen and dining areas. Cloakroom/WC. Double bedroom with six six bed TV and ensuite shower room/WC. On the first floor is a 2 twin bedrooms 1 with TV both with ensuite shower room/WC.

Tintern Abbey and the market town of Monmouth with shops restaurants cinema and Nelson museum are five miles. The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport - venue for The Ryder Cup in 2010 is only twenty minutes away. Offas Dyke and the Wye Valley Walk pass close by and riding angling cycling and canoeing are under eight miles RSPB Symonds Yat is twelve miles.

If you want peace, quiet and a wonderful village feel then The Old School at Penallt is perfect. The building and decor is beautiful, Ros, the owner was great and the surrounding area is stunning. To go exploring all day and then return to such a wonderful place and sit in front of the fire was so lovely. We plan to return. The Old School was a delight to stay in - we loved it.
