Dunstaffnage Cottage enjoys a superb position just outside Grantown-on-Spey in the visually impressive Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. It has three bedrooms with the potential to sleep up to six people.

This converted stable cottage is only half a mile from Grantown-on-Spey which makes it great for seeing some of the finest scenery in this part of Scotland. It is also within close proximity of the breath-taking Cairngorms National Park which is a visual dream.

The property itself lies in the landscaped garden of the owner's lodge. It has two double bedrooms which both possess en suite facilities and one double bedroom on the ground floor that has a separate entrance. The living area is spacious with an open plan layout. There is also a shower room, dining area, fitted kitchen and a sitting area.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has electric storage heaters throughout. There is an electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. The living area has a wide screen TV, DVD player, stereo, CD player, broadband internet access and a library of books, DVDs and games for guests to use during their stay. The electricity, bed linen and towels are all supplied. A cot and highchair are available upon request.

Off road parking is available for up to two cars. There is lockable storage for sporting equipment and wet clothing. There is an enclosed garden that is shared with a summerhouse and pond. The summerhouse has garden furniture. Unfortunately, pets and smoking are not permitted. The closest pubs and shops are just a 10 minute walk away.

Local Town Description

Lying in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Grantown-on-Spey offers a rich insight into how Highland life is led. It has some charming pubs, shops and restaurants whilst it is also a fantastic location for activities such as cycling, tennis, golf and fishing on the River Spey.

The woodland and hills are also a fine attraction for guests that love to birdwatch and walk. The Cairngorms National Park is just epic scenery and vast landscapes providing some of the most dramatic views in the world. In season, there is the chance to ski at the Cairngorms and Lecht Ski Centres.
