Glengynack Cottage sleeps up to 6 people in two bedrooms, and is situated close to Grantown on Spey.

This traditional detached cottage is perfect for a group of friends or a large family. It provides a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. The cottage has a conservatory and a rear garden, ideal for dining al fresco. It is contemporarily decorated and has a wood-burning stove in the kitchen / dining area.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

The property is heated using electric wet radiators (set to Economy 10) and a wood-burning stove in the dining room. There is an oven and hob (electric), freezer, fridge, microwave, washing machine, TV, DVD, CD Player and a small selection of books, DVDs and games. Included in the rent: off-peak power and fuel, towels and bed linen. A highchair and cot are available on request. Garden with BBQ and garden furniture. There is parking available for two cars. Sorry no smoking and no pets. The nearest shop and pub are two miles away. Please note: the cottage is off the A95.

Local Town Description

Grantown on Spey is a traditional Scottish town, located in the middle of the Highlands, and borders Anagach Woods which date to 1766 and Cairngorms National Park. Both these attractions have excellent walking opportunities, as does the town itself, with fantastic views of mountains, hills and wildlife. Grantown on Spey has a high street and square that offer a wide-range of shops that sell all manner of items from pottery and whisky to fishing supplies. The town also has many restaurants, bars and cafes that cater for everyone.

Lovely location with views of the Cairngorm mountains. Very good base for visiting the surrounding area. Owner was very keen to encourage wildlife into garden and we saw many birds and animals. Rooms were spacious and plenty of storage space, overall very warm and comfortable. Owner very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We would like to return to this property.
