Cottage Description
Although thoroughly modernised, it carefully retains the character and atmosphere of the original, with an original log fire as a great focal point. Its position on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park and close proximity to the River Spey mean that there is a huge choice of outdoor activities from walking and climbing through to riding, golf and numerous water sports. In season it is also ideal for winter sports. For touring, Nethy Bridge is two miles away, Grantown-on-Spey three miles, whilst Aviemore and Inverness are a short drive away. Try and visit the Highland Wildlife Park, the Highland Folk Museum, the Speyside Whisky trail, the Cairngorm Mountain Funicular Railway and the delightful steam railway. There are also RSPB reserves in the area. The accommodation includes Ground floor porch, open plan living/dining/kitchen with open fire. On the first floor is a one double bedroom with en-suite shower room. All electric. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, two televisions, dvd, cd player. Bed linen and towels supplied. Cot and highchair available.
