Margaret's Cottage Pet-Friendly Cottage

Located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the village of Low Row near to Reeth, is this delightful traditional stone built mid-terraced cottage.

Margaret's Cottage can accommodate up to four people in its one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The property also has a family bathroom, a sitting room with an electric fire and a fitted kitchen with a dining area.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property benefits from having electric storage heaters throughout with extra heating being provided by the electric fire in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and a tumble dryer is available on request. Margaret's Cottage also boasts a colour TV, DVD player, radio and CD player. All of the fuel and power is included in the rent. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels. A travel cot and highchair can be made available on request.

Outside, there is off road parking for one vehicle and a terraced garden at the front of the property with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Guests are allowed to bring one well-behaved dog. This property operates a no smoking policy. There is a Pub within a short stroll from the property and shops just two miles away.

Local Town Description

The tranquil village of Low Row is made up of a scattering of traditional farm buildings and cottages and sits to the north of the River Swale. The nearby ancient village of Reeth, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book, is home to a cluster of eighteenth-century houses and a hotel that sit around a triangular village green. Other local places of interest include the village of Askrigg, which was the scene for filming the TV show "All Creatures Great and Small", Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater and Hardraw Force, which is England's highest single drop waterfall.
