Cottage Description

Quietly positioned yet centrally located in the iconic fishing port of Whitby. Tastefully furnished in a pleasing contemporary style, the property still manages to retain a flavour of the original building.

The two bedrooms are arranged as a ground floor double (bed access from one side only), plus a further double. The bathroom has a bath, WC, basin and shower. Well appointed modern kitchen, living room with gas fire, sofa bed and dining space.

Secure cycle storage, barbecue and furniture for use in small front courtyard. There is off road parking for one medium sized car, with free parking just two minutes walk away. Five minutes walk to the beach.

Beautifully set on the mouth of the lovely River Esk, this is not only an atmospheric place to stay, but also a great base for local exploration. You have a wonderful choice between coast and country, with the North York Moors National Park, and the wonderful Yorkshire coastline both on your doorstep.

Enjoy the wide ranging amenities, the beautiful Abbey with the 199 steps and the interesting connections with Bram Stoker's Dracula.

A fantastic little cottage situated right in the middle of it all, only 2 minutes to the beach and town. We parked our car on the day we arrived and didn't use it again until the day we left.
