This terraced property is a former forestry worker's cottage and lies in the centre of Kielder Forest in Northumberland. It has three bedrooms and can sleep up to seven people. Based in the middle of the Kielder Forest, this property is a former forestry worker's cottage but has since been restored to deliver cosy accommodation for large groups. The property comes with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom. The kitchen is suitably fitted and the living room has a multi-fuel stove. The garden outside allows for a great place for guests to enjoy some al fresco dining and relaxation. For the children, there is also a play area just a matter of yards away. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Oil fired central heating and extra heating from the multi-fuel stove in the living room supply the cosy ambience for this cottage. There is an electric hob, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and a washing machine in the kitchen. The living area has a TV with Freesat, DVD player, radio, cassette player, CD player, books and games for guests to use. Oil, power, bed linen, towels, cot, high chair and a starter bucket of coal for the stove are all supplied. There is roadside parking available for one car outside the property with extra roadside parking at the end of the road. There is an enclosed lawn garden area with outdoor furniture. There is also a children's play area at the bottom of the road. Two well behaved pets are welcome. Unfortunately, no smoking is allowed. The nearest pub, restaurant, shop and post office are only a 5 minute walk away. Local Town Description The quaint village of Kielder was recently voted the most peaceful place in Britain so why not come here and experience the tranquillity for yourself? It is located in the centre of the biggest man-made forest in Europe and is positioned on the banks of a huge lake. This is serenity at its pinnacle. The area is popular with outdoor enthusiasts and Northumberland as a whole is famous for its walking opportunities, cycling paths and water sports activities available to guests. The local Bird of Prey Centre and the 18th century Kielder Castle are both must visit tourist attractions.

Friendly, helpful owners. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk given. Good quality bedding, lines and towels etc. Beautiful gardens. Friendly village. All local areas visited, friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.
