This is an ideal place to use as a base for exploring the dramatic borders countryside and the Northumberland Heritage coastline. Hawthorn Cottage has comfortable accommodation and splendid countryside views.

The property has an entrance hall, lounge/diner having an open fire and original range. Kitchen, twin bedroom, double bedroom, bathroom/WC with shower over the bath.

Washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, DVD, radio/CD, TV with freeview, open fire fuel to purchase at cost (first supply free of charge), hairdryer, parking space, no smoking, one dog allowed. Inclusive of electricity, linen (duvets), oil heating 28th March to 24th September (other dates £30.00 per week poa), outdoor furniture, gardens and patio, easy walking access.

This is an area littered with stunning countryside, wonderful beaches and many castles and fortified buildings which are a reminder of turbulent times gone by. Find time to visit Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, St. Abbs Head nature reserve and even Edinburgh, the beautiful capital city. Pub with food half a mile away, five miles to Berwick with full amenities.
