Situated in the tranquil rural village of Bowsden, just three-miles from Lowick, is this single storey property that can sleep up to four people. Light Pipe Cottage is a semi-detached property, which has enjoyed modernisation and now provides superb family accommodation with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a well-equipped fitted kitchen with a separate dining room and a sitting room, which has an additional dining area and open fire. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Light Pipe Cottage enjoys full oil central heating with additional heating from the open fire in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The property also has a colour TV with Freesat, DVD, video and radio/CD. Fuel, power & starter pack of wood for the open fire is included. Bed linen is provided. Outside there is off road parking for one vehicle, a small front garden with a lawn and there is a side patio. No smoking allowed. No pets are welcome. There are shops and a pub just three miles away. Local Town Description The small rural hamlet of Bowsden sits in Northumberland with the nearest amenities just three miles away in the village of Lowick. The area has a number of attractions, which include the mini steam railway of the Ford and Etal estate and the Kimmerston Riding Centre. There are many local sandy beaches and charming fishing villages along the Heritage Coast. The nearby towns of Alnwick and Bamburgh are also within easy reach.

The cottage was comfortable, cosy and well equipped. It was in a good location for visiting the coast and places of interest. There were lots of board games and books provided. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, away from it all break.
