An imposing detached Victorian residence set in wonderful scenery amidst the Northumberland National Park. Five excellent bedrooms, farmhouse kitchen with Aga, and a delightful sitting room with an open fire. Wonderful views. Sitting room with open fire, dining room, kitchen and utility room. Twin bedroom and a wet room/WC. The first floor offers two double bedrooms and finally two twin bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, and there is a cloaks/WC. Two travels cots, logs at cost (first supply free), use of forty five acres of shared grounds, pond (children must be supervised at all times), washing machine, barbecue, inclusive of towels and bed linen (duvets), children's play area, convection style heating included, DVD, dishwasher, electricity and partial oil central heating also included, outdoor furniture, freezers, high chair, hairdryer, microwave, regret no smoking. Maximum of two dogs allowed, satellite TV, radio/CD, shared payphone, tumble dryer, easy walking access. Wild life and outdoor enthusiasts will find themselves right at home here. Deer, red squirrels and wood peckers, splendid walking, fishing, cycling, sailing, water skiiing and bird watching. Kielder Water and Forest (the largest man made lake in Europe, and the largest natural woodland in Britain) are there to explore. Hadrians Wall has Roman forts and the turbulent past of this area has left many castles and fortified buildings to visit. Great beaches and villages throughout Northumberland. Bike hire, shop and pub one mile away.
