Cottage Description
Forget Me Not Cottage is a stone-built cottage that is near to the centre of the Cotswolds town of Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. It has two bedrooms and room to sleep up to four people. As a 19th century traditional cottage, this building is shrouded in history and heritage. It is not far from the middle of the Chipping Norton town centre in the Cotswolds and is surrounded by stunning countryside. The cottage itself has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom and a living area that possesses an open plan layout. The kitchen is fully fitted, the dining area encourages social dining and the living space is as cosy as your own home. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property has full gas central heating with extra heating from the wood burning stove in the living room. There is an electric oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. The living area has a TV, DVD player, stereo and CD player. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and a starter pack for the wood burner are all supplied. Free car parking is available across the road from the property. The garden comes with outdoor furniture. One well behaved dog is welcome but must be kept downstairs at all times. Unfortunately, no smoking is permitted. The closest pubs, shops and restaurant are just a 2 minute walk away. Local Town Description Chipping Norton is rich in history and has a past to be proud of. It is a town with plenty of culture and is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Oxfordshire. The town has a weekly market and is also the home of many antique shops, pubs, shops, a museum, a theatre and art galleries. The surrounding area includes villages in the Cotswolds that have a beautiful limestone structure to them. There are lots of walking paths and cycle routes for guests to enjoy. Historical places of interest include Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Rousham House and a plethora of National Trust properties and gardens. There is also the chance to visit the birthplace of Sir William Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon as well as the university city of Oxford.

A clean, cosy cottage which is centrally located in a pretty town with great restaurants and shops. There are nice local walks from the door and it is a good base for visiting Stratford, Oxford and Cotswold villages.

A lovely cottage near to all the amenities of Chipping Norton. Some lovely walks for our dog. We had a very enjoyable week. The flowers, biscuits and note were a lovely welcoming gesture.
