Cottage Description

This is a fantastic Elizabethan Manor house that complete with an outdoor pool close to Henley-on-Thames. It sleeps eighteen people in nine bedrooms.

Reddish Manor is timber framed and is situated in the Chiltern Hills near Sonning Common. It has charming property with nine bedrooms and four reception rooms! There is a four-acre garden and an outdoor heated swimming pool. It has many period features including exposed beams and panelled walls. Outside is a croquet lawn, a spacious parking area, a terrace to the swimming pool and a changing area - as well as an entertainment barn! This is a fantastic property for entertaining on a big scale!

Inside there are three bathrooms and the decor is traditional with contemporary fittings - the owner is an interior designer. There is a modern fitted kitchen and an open fire in one of the reception rooms.

Unfortunately the manor is not suitable for wheelchair users due to its 16th century architecture with lots of steps and narrow doors.

Location

Located near the M40 and M4, this property is just 12 minutes' drive from Reading and Henley-on-Thames. There are plenty of places to eat within short walking distance and some fabulous walks in the Area of Exceptional Natural Beauty surrounded by the River Thames. There are several golf courses close by.

Within a twenty minute drive of Reddish Manor are the following activities: cycling, water sports, walking, mountain biking, mountaineering, hiking and golf.

Amenities

Towels, bed linen, fuel and power are included in the rent. Facilities include broadband internet, TV with cable/satellite, outdoor heated pool. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside garden furniture and sun loungers are provided. There is ample off road parking. Pets are welcome.
