Cottage Description

Foxglove Cottage is a modern property that has been carefully restored. It is based in the village of Little Haven in West Wales. It has two bedrooms and can sleep up to four people.

Based within the grounds of the owner's home, this cottage is presented so that its original features such as stone walling and open beams allow it to keep its authentic charm and character. It was a former pig sty and the transition to modern luxury living is outstanding.

The property itself has bright and spacious rooms and it has been restored to an immaculate standard. There are two double bedrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped, there is a dining area and the living room has a wood burner that ensures guests are warm all year round. There is also a bathroom.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has full oil central heating with extra heating from the wood burner in the living area. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and a washing machine. The living area possesses a TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player and a selection of games, DVDs and books for guests to use during their stay. Fuel, power, bed linen and a starter pack for the wood burner (September until April) are all supplied. A travel cot and high chair are also provided.

Off road parking is available for up to two cars. The graveled area comes with garden furniture. Unfortunately, no smoking or pets are allowed. The closest pub is just a 10 minute walk away and the nearest shop is just 1 mile away. Headroom in this property is limited due to sloping ceiling with open beams.

Local Town Description

The quaint village of Little Haven is positioned around an enclosed cove right on the spectacular Pembrokeshire coast. The village has a lot of facilities such as a bistro, cafes, pubs and a craft shop. There is also a coastal footpath that runs along some of the finest scenery in Wales.

The city of St David's is a grand day out with lots of history to explore. It is the smallest city in Wales and has a cathedral, tea rooms and shops. There is also a choice of family attractions including Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm so there is something for everyone.
