Set in thirty acres of ancient woodland, only a mile from the Pembrokeshire town of Narbeth, Oak Lodge is a splendid detached lodge style property of excellent specification. It has a private hot tub, overlooks a trout fishing lake and is only a two minute walk to an eighteen hole golf course. Is that idyllic enough for you ?

The ground floor accommodation provides two bedrooms, the first of which is a king sized double having TV/DVD and en suite facilities comprising a shower, WC and basin. The second bedroom is a twin. Family bathroom with basin, WC, bath and hand held shower. Open plan living area with sitting area having electric fire, dining and kitchen areas. Utility room.

Outside decked space with hot tub, you can even fish directly from the decking at extra cost, (current rod licence required). Wheel chair access via a ramp. Two car off road parking. Quality all year round accommodation.

Inclusive of fuel, power, bed linen and towels. Full LPG heating, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. Large TV with freeview, CD/DVD, iPod dock, DVDs, games and books. Regret no smoking and no pets, one mile to pub and shop. No children under twelve. Care must be taken at all times because of open streams and lakes. Please respect the quiet nature of the fishing and golf.

Local Town Description

Narbeth provides great local amenities including places to eat, tea rooms and shops. Vibrant Tenby is a quality coastal resort with a wide range of entertainment. There are many great beaches including Broad Haven and Barafundle, and the beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast and the Preselli Mountains. Oakwood Park is great for the family, and Bluestone has the Blue Lagoon and the biggest indoor wave machine in Wales.

My husband and I have just arrived home after a lovely anniversary break of one week at the Oak Lodge, Narberth. We had a very friendly welcome from the owner. The lodge itself is lovely and it is very spacious and decorated very tastefully, with all things matching! The rooms are laid out nicely, giving plenty of room to move about and I would say definitely suitable for disabled visitors too. Private sunken outdoor hot tub which was wonderful! After a day of trekking about it was lovely to sink down and pop on the bubbles for a little while. Nothing beats unwinding with a glass of wine, being able to see the stars and hearing an owl or two whilst relaxing in a hot bubbly bath!
