Thirteen miles to Kirriemuir, the property is an 1860's constructed holiday cottage positioned in the delightfully named Kirkton of Glenisla. It features well proportioned, tastefully presented accommodation whilst benefiting from a lovely south facing garden with patio, barbecue and furniture just right for relaxing and enjoying al fresco dining Popular in both summer and winter, the accommodation provides two double bedrooms and a shower room with WC, basin and shower. There is a breakfast area in the simply fitted kitchen, sitting room having electric fire, and a lovely conservatory dining room. The elevated position offers the most marvellous views, and in the winter months, the proximity of the Glenshee ski resort, seventeen miles away, makes this a very popular property. Local Town Description Kirriemuir is an attractive red sandstone town located in lovely Strathmore Valley. J.M.Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, was born here, and his former home is managed by the National Trust as a museum. As a nice touch, there is a statue of Peter Pan in the town. Enjoy also the Aviation Museum, the ancient Pictish Stones at Meigle, as well as Glamis Castle. The area is of interest to those who love the outdoors with the close at hand Angus Glens providing climbing and hill walking.
