A previous winner of the Best Kept Village in Wales, and the site of the first cast iron bridge in the county, Llandinam can boast a history that goes back beyond the Roman invasion. Lovely black and white timber framed houses are a keynote of Llanidloes which is to be found on the banks of the River Severn, the best example being the lovely old market hall.

Its is a town made up of hustle and bustle with super riverside walks, restaurants, pubs and shops. There is touring access to beautiful places such as Llyn Clywedog and its dam which is some 236 feet high, and Hafren Forest. Between them they offer wonderful scenery and sailing opportunities.

The property is just one hundred yards from the Severn Way National Trail, and just off the National Cycling Network. For something different, try your hand at kite feeding at Rhayader. Aberdovey beach is less than an hour's drive away.
