The name Ty Doli translates as "Doll's House", which is a perfect description of this delightful stone built terraced cottage in the lovely riverside village of Llangattock. Set in a small row close to the church, you will really enjoy this Brecon Beacons National Park location. Offering you the original flagged floor, as well as exposed beams and an open fire, it will be hard not to fall in love with this quaint little cottage. There is one double bedroom with TV and DVD, and a shower room having WC, basin and shower. Lovely open plan ground floor day time accommodation presented as kitchen and dining areas with a sitting area having open fire and sofa bed. There is a bench to the front of the property and a back yard having barbecue and outdoor furniture. The back yard is directly behind the cottage but is accessed via end of terraced row. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Inclusive of fuel, bed linen, towels, power and open fire starter pack. Sitting room open fire plus free standing electric heaters, fridge/freezer, microwave, and electric hob, washing/ironing service can be arranged with the owner. DVD, CD, two TVs, games, DVDs and books. There is no vehicular access outside the property, although you can load and unload fifteen yards away. Free of charge car park one hundred yards away. Secure bike storage, one small well behaved dog, regret no smoking, two minutes walk to pub, one mile to shop. Note: Babes in arms & children over eight years old only. Note: Spiral staircase with limited headroom, unsuitable for less mobile. Local Town Description Llangattock has a superb riverside position next to the famous River Usk, as well as a lovely church, great pubs and atmospheric narrow cobbled streets. Crickhowell is just on the other side of the river, while the Brecon Beacons National Park offers many varied interests for outdoor enthusiasts. Walking, hiking and pony trekking are very popular, and the less active will enjoy a ride on the Brecon Steam Railway. Throughout the area you will find museums celebrating the region's industrial past, as well as castles and abbeys reminding you of the turbulent history of this lovely area close to the English border.
