Cottage Description

Mellondale Bungalow provides luxurious accommodation overlooking the shores of Loch Ewe. The bungalow command magnificent views of an area famous for its picturesque beauty, providing an perfect haven for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The bungalow sleeps four people and has 1 double room with en-suite bathroom and shower, and 1 twin room with en-suite shower and toilet.

Bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and are equipped with hairdryers and radio alarms. Duvets and electric blankets are on all beds. The lounge/dining room is comfy furnished with coal-effect electric fire, television, video and cd/radio cassette. Central heating is electric total control..Electricity, bed linen and towel are supplied and included in the tariff.

There is ample parking. We regret that we do not accept petsThere is an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast bar, electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The combination of the rugged mountains, lochs, golden breaches and clear waters make for a dramatic backdrop to a restful holiday.

Mellondale Bungalow offers the perfect position from which to discover the neighboring area, which provides a variety of activities to suit all the family, including; sea, loch and river fishing, cycling, golf, hill walking, bird watching, swimming, horse riding as well as a wide selection of sporting activities which are available at the local leisure centre.The bungalows provides ample parking and is located three miles from the village of Aultbea and nine miles from the world renowned sub-tropical garden of Inverewewhich has Palm trees and exotic tropical plants flourishingin the mild waters of the Gulf Stream.

The village of Gairloch is twelve miles away, which boasts an award winning Heritage Museum and is also a haven for wildlife, whales, porpoises and seals, as well as many seabirds. From Inverness, follow A835 North to Braemore Junction then left along A832. At Aultbea/Mellon Charles sign, turn right then right again at Aultbea Hotel.

Continue for three miles to near end of road until you see our sign on the left.
