Sitting close to the English/Scottish Border and the market town of Kelso, is this charming terraced cottage, which can sleep up to seven people. Located in the small hamlet of Lempitlaw this property has a number of excellent features, including its own games room with pool table and air hockey.

1 Lempitlaw Farm has three bedrooms, which consist of one king-size double bedroom, one further double bedroom and a room with three single beds. Other features within the property include a whirlpool bath in the bathroom and a wood burning stove in the sitting room.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property enjoys having full oil central heating and a wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen has an AGA stove, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is also a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD/radio, Wi-Fi availability, Play station 2 console, books, games and DVDs within the property. All fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burning stove is included in the rental price. Power in the games room is charged by a coin meter. There is bed linen and towels provided. A cot, highchair and a folding bed on can be made available on request.

Outside, there is off road parking for two vehicles and a well-established spacious rear garden with a patio area, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Two well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. No smoking is allowed. There are shops and pubs just four miles away. This property is suitable for a maximum of six adults and one child under the age of twelve years old.

Local Town Description

The market town of Kelso sits at the point where the Teviot and Tweed rivers meet has a beautiful cobbled town square and streets, which are lined with impressive Georgian architecture. Located within acres of parkland is the nearby Floors Castle where guests can enjoy walks, an adventure playground and gardens. There is also the stunning Kelso Abbey and the popular Kelso Race course. This area offers excellent opportunities for fishing, cycling, hiking and golf.

Lovely cottage, very well maintained throughout. very spacious and comfortable. The washing machine was a godsend. Lots of books to read, and games to use. The games room was used a lot every day. It was great value for money with plenty of home comforts within the cottage to make it a really enjoyable stay. The games room was a great touch and provided much entertainment.
