This charming three-bedroom property is situated close to Jedburgh and can accommodate up to six people. 2 Glebe Farm is a traditional stone-built terraced cottage and is located on a rural smallholding in the hamlet of Chesters. Superbly restored and tastefully furnished the property has two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. There is also a fitted kitchen with dining area, utility room and a lounge with multi-fuel stove. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property benefits from having central heating, which is powered by the multi-fuel stove in sitting room. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Within the property there is also a colour TV with Freeview, DVD, and CD/radio. Fuel, power and wood for the multi-fuel stove is included. Bed linen is provided. There is off road parking for three cars. Outside there is a paved sitting area at the front of the property and a garden to the rear. A small-enclosed paddock is also available, which leads to fields. No smoking is allowed. One well-behaved dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead. There are shops just seven miles away and a pub three miles away. Local Town Description Ten miles from the Scottish Border is the charming town of Jedburgh, which is located between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Edinburgh. Surrounded by spectacular countryside, the town has numerous shops, pubs and an award-winning restaurant. Jedburgh is also home to the Mary Queen of Scots Visitor Centre and an impressive Abbey, which towers above the town and dates back to 1138. Locally there are many opportunities for fishing,, walking, cycling and golf.

Lovely peaceful location, no traffic noise or street light distraction, and near enough to local towns as not to feel cut off. Friendly neighbours and a wealth of historical interest made this a good holiday. Would certainly go again.
