Courtyard Cottage is a Victorian building that enjoys leafy surroundings in the Shropshire hamlet of Wootton on the outskirts of the Dudmaston Estate. It has the potential to sleep four people and holds one bedroom.

This cottage is linked to the Victorian country house of the owner and is on the edge of the National Trust estate of Dudmaston. It is close to Bridgnorth and is a great place to bring the family.

The cottage has one bedroom with a super king size bed and a sofa bed in the lounge for additional sleeping space. There is a family bathroom. The kitchen has a small dining area and there is also a sitting room.

This property has full oil central heating. The kitchen has a double electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, larder fridge and a washing machine. The living area has a TV and a DVD player. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are supplied. A cot, stair gate and high chair are available upon request.

Off road parking is available for one car and a second car can be accommodated if necessary. The courtyard is shared and holds outdoor furniture. The owner's large garden is also accessible. Unfortunately, no smoking or pets are allowed. The closest shop is just half a mile away and the nearest pub is just 2 miles away.

Local Town Description

The tiny hamlet of Wootton can be found in the lovely county of Shropshire and is close to the market town of Bridgnorth. Bridgnorth plays host to a buzzing Saturday street market that is quite an experience for any tourist to the area with a lot of quaint stalls and shops to discover.

The Severn Valley Railway route runs from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster and passes through some wonderful scenery. In the local area, guests can visit some fascinating places of interest such as The Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford and Ironbridge Gorge which is believed to be the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The towns of Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Church Stretton are also close by.
