Cottage Description

This attractive detached wooden chalet sits within the grounds of the owner's home in the village of Watchfield, which is close to the stunning beaches at Burnham on Sea.

The Chalet has all of its rooms on the ground floor, which consist of one double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath that has a shower over it, WC and basin. Within the spacious open plan living space there is a well-appointed fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with a colour TV.

This property benefits from having full gas central heating. Fuel and power is included. Bed linen and towels are provided.

In the kitchen, there is a gas cooker, steamer, slow cooker, microwave, larder fridge and washing machine.

There is an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ and water feature. Off-road parking is available for two vehicles. Four well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional charge. No smoking is allowed. Fresh eggs are available from the owner.

Local Town Description

There are shops just over one mile away and two pubs within walking distance of the property. There is also Richs Cider Farm, Brewery and Restaurant just a short stroll away, a golf course and many opportunities for walking locally. Guests can enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, fishing, sailing and donkey rides within seven miles at Burnham on Sea. England's smallest city, Wells is nearby and Glastonbury Tor is within easy reach. Other local places of interest include Weston-Super-Mare, which has the Playhouse Theatre and Winter Gardens. Exmoor National Park is also close by.

Lovely quiet location, with gentle noises occasionally from the ducks, chickens and ponies, which was very relaxing. Thought the welcoming touches of fresh vase of flowers in the lounge, bottle of wine and a dog towel was brilliant. The owners were friendly and nice, and we knew they'd help if we needed anything. Good selecion of leaflets for local eateries, places of interest etc. Very securely fenced garden area which was ideal for our small new dog, on his first holiday.
