This contemporary-style terraced cottage can be traced back to the 18th century but has enjoyed a careful makeover. It is based in the market town of Leek in Derbyshire and has two bedrooms to sleep four people.

As a Grade II listed building, this property has plenty of history to its name and is based in a historic part of England in the market town of Leek in the county of Staffordshire. It is ideal for exploring the Peak District National Park or even a visit to Alton Towers Theme Park.

The cottage comes with one double bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds. There is a family bathroom. The living area has a fitted kitchen and a cosy sitting area. The sunny courtyard is perfect for relaxing after a hard day of discovering the local area.

Full gas central heating is throughout this property with extra heating from an electric fire in the living room. It has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with no ice box and a microwave in the kitchen. The living area has a combi TV and DVD player. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is also a high chair, cot and stair gate provided.

Car parking is available at the front of the property and in the pay and display public car park that can be found next to the cottage. The rear courtyard has a seating area with a barbecue. Unfortunately, no smoking or pets are allowed. The closest pubs and shops are only a 1 minute walk away.

Leek is a market town that can be found on the western region of the Peak District National Park. It is ambushed by beautiful Moorland landscape and is a charming town that has a cobbled market place and divine Victorian architecture to remind guests of its history.

The town is now full of bookshops, shops, galleries and restaurants. There is also a wide choice of real ale pubs with some tasty local brews available to buy. The Alton Towers Theme Park is only a 15 minute drive away so this is an ideal place to stay if you fancy a day trip there.
