With atmospheric eighteenth century connections, this property is a quality barn conversion located in the delightful little hamlet of Bottomhouse, six miles from Leek and nine miles from Ashbourne. Its four bedrooms allows for extended sleeping accommodation for up to fifteen people, just right for reunions and get togethers. A courtyard setting with eye catching countryside views. The four bedrooms are laid out as a large family room having a double and three single beds as well as an en suite shower, WC and basin), a 4' double bedroom, a large family bedroom with a double bed and three single beds, again with en suite (shower, WC and basin, and an adult bunk bedroom. The sleeping accommodation is completed by a single sofabed on well proportioned landing. There is a large ground floor wet room having shower, WC and basin. Spacious living space with solid oak flooring, well presented kitchen, solid oak dining table & chairs with seating for sixteen. Sitting area with wood burner, spiral staircase and french windows. Note: One of the family rooms can be accessed via internal steps or external staircase. Note: High heels must not be worn on the oak flooring. Refundable good housekeeping bond required. Local Town Description Ipstones is set on the western edge of the ever popular Peak District, close to both Ashbourne and Leek. Walkers and cyclists will already know that this is an area that offers great facilities for their pursuits in particular. Ipstones has pubs with food, a post office and a general store. Chief amongst local areas of beauty are the Manifold Valley, Dovedale and the Churnet Valley, while he Ilam Estate and Lyme Park are in the ownership of the National Trust. The Blackbrook Zoological gardens (housing the largest collection of birds in Britain), and wonderful Chatsworth House are two other top attractions easily available to you when you stay here.
