Explore the delightful Peak District National Park from the comfort of this sturdy, comfortable eighteenth century barn conversion in the lovely hamlet of Bottomhouse.

Thoughtfully renovated while incorporating attractive beamed ceilings, the property has the added bonus of providing delightful views over the local rolling countryside. Flexible accommodation of interest either to two couples or extended families.

The three bedrooms start with a family room having a single bed and a four foot double, (having separate staircase access), as well as a double bedroom leading to a twin bedroom (this has low beams and is suitable for children).

There are two ground floor shower rooms, both having WC, basin and shower, and two living areas, each with a well presented kitchen. There is a comfortable sitting area which seats five and includes a sofa bed, and a dining area seating four.

There is an enclosed patio with barbecue and furniture, also hot tub availability (charged at £150.00 per week or short break). Book an adjoining property in conjunction for a total sleeping space of up to twenty four people. (Friday changeover day if this type of booking is made).

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

Inclusive of fuel and power, as well as bed linen and towels. Electric central heating, two fridge/freezers, two electric hobs and two combi microwaves/grills. Two radio/CDs, two TVs with freeview, tumble dryer and washing machine are located in an outside barn. Three car off road parking, high chair and cot availability by request, regret no smoking and no pets, two miles to pub and shop. Refundable good housekeeping deposit required.

Local Town Description

Ipstones is to be found between the lovely market towns of Ashbourne and Leek, on a westerly edge of the Peak District National Park. There is a pub with food, village shop and a post office, while the surrounding countryside, being so typical of the Peak District offers great walking and cycling with moorland hikes and woodland trails.

The Manifold Trail, Churnet Valley and Dovedale are all close by, and great houses such as Chatsworth, Lyme Park and Haddon Hall are popular tourist destinations, all of them having featured on television and in films over the years.

Blackbrook Zoological Gardens and the National Trust's Ilam Estate are worth a visit, while Alton Towers is only a ten minute drive away.
