Gable Cottage

Displaying period features, this delightful picturesque cottage adjoins the seventeenth century home belonging to the owners. The position at Onecote in the southern part of the Peak District National Park is just one hundred yards from a welcoming pub with dining facilities.

Gable Cottage is tastefully decorated and presented, and offers a sitting room that features a wood burning stove and a door to an enclosed patio. Arched kitchen leads to dining space. First floor double bedroom with four poster, and also a twin bedded room. Bathroom and WC with shower over the bath.

Electricity and electric radiators included 13th April to the 13th September (other dates calculated by meter reading - first £5.00 free), dishwasher, DVD, outdoor furniture for use on patio, hairdryer, high chair, stairgate and travel cot availability, towels and linen (duvets) also included. Microwave, two dogs maximum allowed, regret no smoking, parking, logs at cost price, TV with freeview and radio.

Take advantage of the famous Manifold Trail by hiring a bike, and enjoy walking the many local trails and pathways. Leek, Buxton and Ashbourne are local centres that should attract your attention. Waterworld, Monkey Park, Trentham Gardens, Chatsworth House and Little Moreton Hall are also popular, as is the Heights of Abraham which is within a forty five minute drive. Seven miles to golf, riding twelve miles distant. Pub is one hundred yards and a shop is four miles.
