Located in the Peak District National Park, Harewood Cottage enjoys a gorgeous position in the peaceful village of Grindon. It has the potential to be a fantastic romantic getaway for couples of all ages. This cottage lies in the serene village of Grindon and is a stone-built property with plenty of character. It has been decorated, furnished and equipped to an elite standard. The ceilings are vaulted with exposed beams in the living room to give the cottage a cosy ambience. It has one double bedroom, bathroom and a toilet on the first floor. There is a dining area in the kitchen and a reading area on the first floor. The property enjoys a prime position with the chance for guests to visit Alton Towers Theme Park. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property has full oil central heating with extra heating in the living area provided by a wood burner. There is an electric cooker, fridge and a microwave in the kitchen. The living area has a TV with Freeview, DVD player and a choice of DVDs, books and games for guests to use during their stay. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the wood burner. Bed linen and towels are supplied. There is plenty of off road parking for this property. The private garden comes with outdoor furniture. Unfortunately, no pets or smoking are allowed. The closest pub and shop are only 2 miles away. Local Town Description Grindon is a countryside village that can be found in the visually spectacular Manifold Valley which is in the centre of the Peak District. It is a fantastic area for cyclists and walkers. The village of Grindon is full of stone-built properties and is only 2 miles from the village of Butterton. Butterton has a pub, butchers and a post office. Within the local area, there is also the historic market town of Ashbourne, Alton Towers Theme Park and the Peak District National Park.
