Honeystone Family Cottage

This quality holiday property combines spacious, well proportioned rooms sizes with an excellent standard of internal fitment. The conversion has been carried out with taste and imagination, and is to be found on a former seventeenth century working farm at Meerbrook near Leek.

There are three bedrooms on offer, presented as a double having en suite shower, WC and basin, a second double providing en suite access from the main bathroom, and a twin offering a further pull out single. The bathroom has a basin, WC, bath with shower over. There is an open fire in the comfortable sitting room, as well as a well equipped kitchen with a dining area.

The property has lovely views, as well as a range cooker and beams. There is a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. You can book two other properties in conjunction to provide a total sleeping space for thirty three people.

Local Town Description

Beautifully positioned on the south western edge of the glorious Peak District. This lovely National Park is particularly well regarded for its fine walking and cycling trails, and Meerbrook is located on the edge of the Roaches, an area well known amongst the walking community. The villages has pub serving fine food and ales.

It is also a short walk to Tittesworth Reservoir a fine area for wild life enthusiasts and walkers alike, while the splendid spa town of Buxton is just twelve miles distant.

It has a full range of facilities and amenities, as well as a museum, and the Buxton Opera House providing big name entertainment. All the family will love the proximity to Alton Towers, and you may want to add Bakewell, Ashbourne and Matlock to your touring list, as well as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
