Cottage Description

Nestling in tranquil seclusion beside the Millennium Forest within the Loch Lomond National Park and a few minutes stroll from the eastern shores of Loch Lomond itself this extremely comfy cottage is perfect for lovers of the outdoor life.

Blair Cottage comprises of a hall, a comfortable sitting room with gas fire and sofa bed (sleeping an additional two guests). There is a useful utility room and a well equipped kitchen/dining room with patio doors leading through to the conservatory and enclosed garden. There are two bedrooms a double bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom with zip and links beds (double by arrangement). The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and shower over the bath.

Windsurfing, canoeing, water skiing and sailing are among the water sports enjoyed around the loch and there are many cycle paths and waymarked walks as well as the challenge of Ben Lomond. A number of golf courses are close by and the Loch Lomond Shores visitor centre provides retail outlets, restaurants and loch cruises. There are shops within five miles and a pub serving food within one and a half miles.

Photos do not do Blair Cottage justice as when we first arrived, we fell in love with it staight away. Cottage very well equipped from a torch to a hot water bottle! Our two dogs loved the gardens and the long walks close by to the place. Cant wait to go back and already planning another visit very soon. Blair Cottage is Perfect in every way, it has absolutely everything you need for the most relaxing break, from the beautiful scenery to the deer coming to see you for a breakfast hello, this cottage is a must for everyone, try the Oak Tree pub for a massive steak if you dare!! We had a great time! Blair Cottage is beautiful, very clean and tidy, and the photos do not do the cottage justice. It has a rustic and homely feel with all mod cons! The gardens and surrounding grounds are so peaceful, and full of colour and interest, Monty (our black lab) spent hours exploring. The BBQ area stonework is absolutely fantastic! The location is wonderful, secluded yet with local pubs (The Oak Tree, our favorite for bar food), and shops are only a five minute drive away.
