Cottage Description
A quite delightful property, being a converted wing of a farmhouse, and having a fine location in the hills above Flanders Moss which is to be found between the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Stirling, on the edge of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You will be delighted by the views afforded of Ben Lomond and Carse of Stirling from the french doors that open onto your own patio and garden. Tour locally and enjoy Doune and Stirling Castles, and the Lake of Mentieth. Forty five minutes travelling to Glasgow, and an hour to Edinburgh. Local activities include horse riding, cycling, golf, walking, hiking, tennis and fishing. Ground floor sitting area with TV, DVD player and books, dining area, well equipped kitchen including hob, oven and grill, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, freezer, microwave and washing machine. Of the three bedrooms, two can be offered as either double or twin (please specify when booking), the third being a twin bedded room. One of the two main double/twin rooms has its own private WC and shower. Family bathroom and separate shower. Fuel charges metered and paid directly to the owner on departure (from £25.00 as a guide). A token charge of £5.00 per week is made for use of the wi-fi broadband. Patio and garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture. Off road parking. Bed linen, towels, iron and ironing board included. Cot and high chair availability, regrettably no smoking.
