Oak View Pet-Friendly Cottage

Oak View can sleep up to six people and comes with three bedrooms. It can be found on the outer areas of the peaceful Combs village in Suffolk and is within close proximity to the town of Ipswich.

This cottage is a semi-detached property on the outer border of the village of Combs in Suffolk and is located down a peaceful countryside lane. The cottage has a cosy ambience whilst remaining bright and spacious.

The living room has an open fire, the conservatory has a dining area and there is a well-equipped kitchen as well as a bathroom. The property has one king size double bedroom, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This cottage has central heating from an open fire with extra heating from electric convector heaters and hot water is supplied due to solar panels and an immersion water heater. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher. The living area has a TV with Sky, DVD player, radio and a CD player. Wi-Fi and a selection of books, games and DVDs are also provided. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and a starter pack of fuel for the open fire is supplied. A travel cot, stair gate and high chair are provided upon request.

Off road parking is available for three cars. A large enclosed garden has outdoor furniture with a barbecue. Three well behaved pets are welcome. Unfortunately, no smoking is allowed. The closest pub is 2 miles away and the nearest shop is 3 miles away.

Local Town Description

Combs is a small village that is ambushed by scenic rural footpaths that walking enthusiasts and nature lovers will adore. Only 3 miles away is the market town of Stowmarket that offers a wealth of amenities such as shops, restaurants, pubs and a leisure centre.

Attractions within the local area include the Musuem of East Anglian Life, Gipping Valley Footpath and the Stowmarket Town Trail. The Wolves Wood RSPB Reserve and Haughley Park are also interesting places that guests can plan a day trip to. The towns of Ipswich, Colchester and Bury St Edmonds also have plenty to keep guests occupied during a stay including a castle and a zoo.
