What better position than this, just yards from the sand duned Kessingland beach. The ground floor apartment was formerly the lifeboat house, and is now a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

Three steps to the entrance, open plan day time space with the lounge/diner having sea views. Well proportioned, well equipped kitchen. Utility room, double bedroom having en suite shower room/WC, two further twin bedrooms, bathroom with WC.

Washing machine, dishwasher, towels and linen (duvets) included, inclusive of electricity, DVD, outdoor furniture in the garden, gas heating included 1st May to 1st October (£20.00 per week poa for other dates), fridge freezer, microwave, hairdryer, music system, regret no smoking and no pets, TV with freeview, parking.

A property that offers a lovely interior plus the chance for some great sunsets and some serious relaxation. Four miles away is Lowestoft with attractions for all ages, and it is but a short drive to Africa Alive and the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park. Hire a boat on Oulton Broad, which is the gateway to the Norfolk Broads, while RSPB Minsmere will entertain the bird lovers in your group. Southwold boasts its pier and summer theatre, and Sutton Hoo, Aldeburgh and Dunwich Heath are all easily accessible. Fifty yards to pub and restaurant, and one mile to a shop.

My close family and I stayed at the Boathouse for a long weekend at the start of September. We were looking for somewhere to stay as we had a family wedding in the area. We would normally stay in a travel lodge, but decided to look for somewhere that could be more of a home as we were there for 3 night's and for 6 of us, we wanted to be able to relax together as we had travelled a long way. I was so pleased when I found the cottage on the website and what was on offer. I really didn't expect the standard to be as high as we found. The kitchen had everything you would need, the living space was very comfortable and the decor really suited the surroundings. The whole apartment was very spacious and clean and looked as if it had recently been decorated. We felt the price was very reasonable for what was there. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone as a holiday home, for any length of time. Thank you for making the weekend one to remember and to end the summer on a high.
