Nearby, Mendlesham village has two pubs, bakers, fish and chip shop and an annual May Day street fair. Wild Bryony Cottage has a charming double bedroom, an attractive sitting room with an electric fire, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property enjoys electric central heating throughout and an electric wood burner-effect stove in the sitting room. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The property also boasts a colour TV, DVD player, radio/CD player and a library of books, DVDs and games. All the fuel and power is included in the rental price. Bed linen and towels are provided for guests. Outside, there is off road parking for one car, lockable bike storage and a courtyard garden with outdoor furniture. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. This is a no smoking property. Local Town Description The delightful Suffolk hamlet of Mendlesham Green enjoys a tranquil setting with country lanes providing wonderful walks. The larger village of Mendlesham has attractive buildings, a charming parish church and a good selection of amenities. It also hosts a large street fair each May Day bank holiday. Other local places of interest include the Helmingham Hall and deer park and the traditional market towns of Stowmarket and Diss. The cities of Norwich and Ipswich are easily within reach, as is the beautiful Suffolk and Norfolk coasts.

 The cottage is set in beautiful countryside with easy access to the coast and many local sites of interest. Driving along the country lanes and through small villages with thatched cottages was very enjoyable as was buying the locally grown fruit and veg from the roadside. We enjoyed visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh, Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds.

pretty rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and picturesque waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk provides beaches, saltmarshes and pretty and charming villages whilst equally as picturesque are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
