Croftside Family Cottage

This is a large detached cottage and comfortably sleeps up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms and is ten miles from Warwick.

Croftside is a fabulous house with many features. It has a modern fitted kitchen complete with breakfast bar, a separate dining area and a real fire in the living room. There are five good-sized bedrooms, one of which has a double four poster bed with an en-suite shower room, with WC and basin. There is another bathroom, complete with spa bath and outside there is a Jacuzzi and sauna in a summer house. The property is fitted to a very high standard, with lovely views and has off-road parking available for four cars. This is a fantastic holiday base!

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

Central heated (oil) with open fire in the living room. Oven and hob (electric), fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, TV with basic satellite, DVD, video, telephone with incoming only. A small selection of DVDs and videos. There is a supplement for fuel* from November to March (inclusive). In other months power, fuel and fire starter pack are included in the rent. Towels and bed linen are included in the rent and a stair gate, highchair and cot are available on request. Large garden with garden furniture, BBQ and summer house. Summer house has sauna and Jacuzzi that are available to hire* per short break / per week subject to prior arrangement (owner available between 11am and 6pm). The hot tub accessible 24 hrs following arrival. Sorry no smoking and no pets. Please note the maximum of nine adults. The nearest shop and pub are 1.5 miles away). Parking for up to four cars.

Local Town Description

The historical village of Knightcote is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, and has Norman heritage. This is reflected in the local church and in the hills the remains of an old medieval tower. Steeped in history, Knightcote has beautiful views of the Warwickshire countryside, in the heart of Shakespeare country. There are fantastic walking and cycling opportunities and excellent places of interest for nature lovers. Close by is historical Stratford upon Avon, with Shakespeare's birthplace, theatre, country parks and Anne Hathaway's cottage, one of the many National Trust properties in the area. A boat ride on the river Avon is recommended! Also nearby is Oxford and Leamington Spa, making Croftside Family Cottage a fantastic base for exploring Warwickshire.
