Cottage Description

Set in the grounds of the owner's sixteenth century home in Halford, Warwickshire, the cottage itself carries a Grade II listing, boasting the original wall timbers and beams which are tastefully married to other more modern features.

The village amenities are close at hand, with local and distance touring taking in many of the fine attractions in this lovely part of England. Private courtyard garden with barbecue and furniture.

The three bedrooms are a double and a single with a third bedroom offered as a twin but can be offered as a further double if required (please advise). The bathroom has a basin, WC, bath with shower over, ground floor basin and WC. Sitting room, utility, kitchen having stable door to courtyard,plus dining space.

Local Town Description

Halford has the remains of an earthwork and buried remains that may have been the precursor of the present manor house, but what is certain is that it is a delightful village having great access to pretty Shipston-on-Stour with its shops, pubs and restaurants as well as its splendid seventeenth century church.

Also close by for touring purposes are the Cotswolds, the lovely ruins of Kenilworth Castle, elegant Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon with all its Shakespearian connections. Lovely villages such as Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Broadway and Chipping Campden, plus walking, horse riding, golf and the Heritage Motor Museum.

Fantastic cottage within easy reach of Drayton Manor theme park, Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace, Stow-in-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Cadbury's World.
