The Cow Pen Countryside Cottage

Tastefully renovated, this delightfully named semi-detached former barn, has thankfully retained original features such as original brickwork and oak beams. Splendid brick appearance with tiled roof. Set on a working fruit farm, you will enjoy a welcome hamper on arrival with produce from the farm shop.

Beautifully presented ground floor accommodation featuring a double bedroom with TV and freeview as well as an en suite bathroom (down two steps) with WC, basin, bath with shower over, complimentary toiletries. Eye catching day time accommodation with sitting, dining and kitchen areas.

There is a gravelled courtyard with chairs and tables to enjoy the outdoors. You can book two other adjoining properties in conjunction to provide total accommodation for up to eight people.

Inclusive of fuel, power, towels and bed linen. Gas fired heating, fridge, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. On site tumble dryer and washing machine (no charge). CD player/radio, DVD, TV with freeview, DVDs, books and games. Two car off road parking, barbecue available by request, regret no smoking and no pets, three quarters of a mile to on site farm shop, one mile to pub. Children must be supervised as there are six reservoirs in the owner's grounds suitable for fishing (extra charge applies).

Local Town Description

Because of the William Shakespeare connections, this is always a very popular part of Britain with tourists. With Stratford just three miles away, you are splendidly located to make the most of this beautiful and varied area.

As well all the Shakespearian sights and sounds, take in Stratford itself where so many original period properties remain, as well as the theatre and the river.

You are within easily travelling distance of the Cotswolds with its beautiful countryside and wonderful honey coloured towns and villages. Warwick Castle is a day trip in itself, while there is pleasure in getting to know the network of canals that criss-cross the region.
