Cottage Description
This modern semi-detached family home is situated on the south shore of the firth of forth in the small town of South Queensferry, which has the magnificent forth road and rail bridges overlooking it. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, this property is south facing and has rear views of the bridges and a contemporary interior. The home has a living room with a TV, DVD and double sofa bed. The well-appointed spacious kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and automatic washing machine. There is one double bedroom with a digital TV and a bedroom with a single bunk above a double bunk bed. A cot and highchair can also be made available by request. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and bed linen and towels are provided by prior arrangement. Outside there is a child friendly enclosed garden to the rear, with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. There is also a private parking space. Queensferry is a historic town with a museum and a fine selection of shops and restaurants. In the evening, the bridges are lit up to offer a spectacular backdrop of the harbour and marina, where water sports can be enjoyed in the day. Boat trips can also be taken from here to Inchcolm Island, which is home to a 12th century abbey and rare birds and wildlife. Other local attractions include historic buildings, stately homes and a sports centre with a swimming pool. Edinburgh is easily accessible and there are excellent train and bus services that run throughout the day. This property enjoys a quiet residential location and views of the nearby bridges to the rear. It has two TV's and gas central heating.
