Cottage Description

Set on the arable and livestock farm belonging to the owners, the property is a brick built semi-detached single storey holiday home only four miles from Tadcaster. Tasteful easily managed holiday accommodation.

Ground floor three bedroomed accommodation offered as a family room with twins (can be double) plus pull out stacker bed, a double and a third being a single with a pull out stacker bed. The family bathroom has WC, basin, bath with shower over. There is also a shower room with WC, basin and shower. Sitting room with sofa bed and wood burner,dining off the kitchen and snug with TV.

There is two car off road parking and a barbecue and outdoor furniture for use in the enclosed garden. Book an adjoining property in conjunction for a total sleeping accommodation of twelve.

Inclusive of towels and bed linen, power, fuel and wood burner starter pack (extra wood on honesty box basis). Full oil heating, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric cooker. Two TVs having freeview, stereo/CD, games, and books, high chair and cot availability, regret no pets and no smoking, four miles to pubs and shops.

Access via a mile long unmade track, please take care. Farm noise increase July to November inclusive because of harvesting. Nearby RAF training base may cause occasional noise.

Local Town Description

Tadcaster, famous for its three breweries is ideally positioned for exploring the two local National Parks, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Historic Ripon and York are both close at hand, as well as castles at Richmond, Bolton and Middleham and the spa town of Harrogate.

This is a great place to have a holiday stay. We particularly liked sitting on the back patio and having the cows visit in the adjoining field! Local Area Description

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
