Located close to the small village of Tosside on the border of Lancashire and Yorkshire, is this charming stone built detached cottage. Enjoying a rural location with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this property is accessed via one-hundred metres of level farm track and can accommodate up to five people. Butcher's Laithe Cottage has one king-size double bedroom with en-suite facilities, one further double bedroom and one single bedroom. There is also a family bathroom, fitted kitchen with a dining table and a sitting room with a wood burning stove. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property enjoys full oil fired central heating with extra heat supplied by the wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Butcher's Laithe Cottage also boasts a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio and stereo/CD player. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burning stove are included in the rent. Additional fuel for wood burning stove is available on an honesty box basis. Water is available from a private borehole, which is fitted with a UV filter. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels. Outside, there is off road parking for four vehicles, secure bike storage in a garage and a large patio area with outdoor furniture. No pets are allowed. This property has a no smoking policy. There are shops just three miles away and there is a pub just one mile away. Local Town Description The small village of Tosside nestles between the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales, six miles from the ancient town of Settle. The village is historically part of Yorkshire but now spans into Lancashire as well. It has a local pub, church and a community centre. To the north of the village, guests can explore the rising landscape to the fells, moors and beautiful valleys of the Dales. To the south, there are the wetlands of the Ribble Valley and the magnificent wilderness of Bowland, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearby market town of Settle has a weekly market and a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat.

Lovely location. Very newly decorated.Log burning stove and the heating system was very efficient. Very clean. One of the nicest self catering houses we have stayed in and I am definitely going back.
