Cottage Description

Situated close to the centre of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales market town of Skipton, is this stone built Victorian home, which can accommodate up to fourteen people.

Low Field House has one double bedroom, one single bedroom, two family bedrooms and there are two sofa beds available in the property. There are two well-presented family bathrooms, a fitted kitchen, dining area, a sitting room with an electric fire and a games room.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This stunning property enjoys full gas central heating with supplementary heating from the electric fire in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Low Field House also features two colour TVs with basic Satellite channels, two DVD players, a CD player, books, games, DVDs, an iPod dock, Playstation 2 with a selection of games and there is Wi-Fi availability in the games room. All of the fuel and power is included in the lease and guests are supplied with bed linen and towels. A cot and highchair are available on request.

To the outside, there is a front yard with a seating area, roadside parking for two cars and off road parking for two more cars on the drive at the rear of the property. No pets are allowed. No smoking is permitted. This property sits just a three-minute walk from shops and a pub. There is a train station within a ten-minute walk away.

Local Town Description

The charming market town of Skipton enjoys a great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is an historic castle, which is open to the public, a stunning old parish church and a market, which occupies cobbled areas on each side of the high street. Guests can enjoy a canal trip on a traditional barge or travel just one-mile to visit the Embsay Steam Railway, which runs regular steam train excursions at the weekend.
