Cottage Description

This delightful semi-detached barn conversion is situated in the village of Stainforth, which sits within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Located just three miles from the historic town of Settle, this property can accommodate up to six people.

Stepping Stones Barn has two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a well-presented family bathroom. There is an open plan living space, which features a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has electric radiators throughout, under-floor heating in the bathroom and an electric fire in the sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Stepping Stones Barn also features a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player, iPod dock and there is Wi-Fi available, which is charged through an honesty box. All of the fuel and power is included in the price and guests are supplied with bed linen and towels. A travel cot and highchair are available by prior request.

Outside the property, there is off road parking for one car with additional roadside parking. For a small charge, guests can also park at the Dales Visitor car park in the village. The property has a lockable garden shed for bike/boot storage, a matured garden overlooking a river, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted. This property sits within a short walk of a local pub and just three miles from the nearest shops.

Local Town Description

The Ribblesdale village of Stainforth sits in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is home to a number of stone built traditional cottages, charming narrow lanes, a village church and a traditional old pub. The bustling market town of Settle is just three miles away, hosts a weekly market, and has a good selection of shops and many places to eat. The Settle to Carlisle Railway is one of the most scenic in England and features the occasional steam train and the magnificent Ribblehead viaduct.
