This attractive stone-built terraced cottage is situated in the town of Skipton on the edge of Yorkshire Dales National Park. Within walking distance of the main high street and close to a beautiful canal, this property can accommodate two people. Town Cottage has one king size double bedroom, a well-presented bathroom, a small well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and gas fire. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property has full gas central heating with supplementary heating from the gas fire in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge and a washing machine. Town Cottage also features a colour TV with Free-Sat, DVD player, CD/radio, books, games and DVDs. All of the fuel and power is inclusive and guests are provided with bed linen and towels. Outside the property, there is off road parking space by the front of the cottage and a small front patio area with outdoor furniture. No pets are allowed. This property has a no smoking policy. There are many shops and pubs all within a short walk away. Local Town Description Skipton is a great base for exploring all that the Yorkshire Dales National Park has to offer and is within reach of York and the Lake District. This market town boasts an ancient castle, which is open to the public, a stunning old parish church and a marketplace that occupies the cobbled setts either side of the high street. Guests can enjoy a canal trip on a traditional barge through the town or visit nearby Embsay Steam Railway, which runs regular steam train trips at weekends.

The cottage was located just 60m behind the main High Street, but was in a quiet secluded close with car parking. Very convenient to a wide choice of restaurants for evening meals in town.

The cottage was very centrally located and within easy access of surrounding areas making it perfect for walking. Considering its location it was very quiet giving the impression you were in the middle of the countryside.
