Set on the edge of the lovely little hamlet of Sherrington about seven miles from Warminster, Sherrington Stables is an attractive, well presented single storey cottage. It is therefore of particular interest to those with limited mobility, and because of its position, is ideal for a tranquil and relaxing break. A peaceful setting in the grounds of a three hundred year old cottage of pretty thatched design occupied by the owners. There are great walks locally, but the charm of this property is as much in the touring possibilities with Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Bath, and Bradford-on-Avon all close at hand. Tourist attractions include Wardour Castle, Avebury, Longleat, Stonehenge and the National Trust property Stourhead with its magnificent gardens and they are all worth finding time to visit. The Dorset coastline is a little further away, but well within a day trip and features, Studland, Lulworth, Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. Great pubs with great food. Local activities include walking, mountain biking, golf, cycling, tennis, horse riding and fishing. One double bedroom, whilst the kitchen comes equipped with hob, oven and grill, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, washing machine. Garden with outdoor furniture.
