Cottage Description

This impressive ground floor detached property sits on the banks of the River Severn in the village of Astley Burf and can accommodate up to seven people. Guests can enjoy private boat mooring and have fishing rights.

Rosewater Cottages has been superbly furnished and consists of one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and there is a family room with a double and single bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, which has a dining area. There are doors leading out to the garden, which overlooks the river and has outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property benefits from having full gas central heating. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The property also has a colour TV, DVD player and stereo/CD player. Fuel & power is included in the rental price during April to September inclusive, with a small supplement applying between October and March inclusive. Bed linen & towels are provided.

Outside, there is off road parking for three vehicles, an enclosed garden with a lawn, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There is an additional garden area beside the river with its own mooring and fishing rights. One well behaved dog is welcome. No smoking is allowed. There are shops just two miles away and a pub with a restaurant a short walk away. As the riverside garden area is open to the nearby river, it is important that children are supervised at all times.

Local Town Description

The village of Astley Burf enjoys a wonderful setting on the banks of the River Severn and is just two miles from Stourport-on-Severn. The village is surrounded by stunning countryside and there are many opportunities for walking and cycling trails in the nearby Wye valley. The Severn Valley Railway and West Midlands Safari Park is within easy reach.
