Cottage Description
The aptly named Station House is a must-stay venue for all railway enthusiasts. It is actually the former Victorian station master's residence and sits just alongside the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway. This follows a fabulous path along the Dee Valley between Carrog and Llangollen. The tastefully furnished well proportioned accommodation is laid out as a ground floor sitting room having an open fire. The dining room also has an open fire, and there is a well appointed kitchen, as well as a utility room. Bathroom/WC having a shower over the bath. First floor double bedroom (can be twin), with en suite WC. The second bedroom is a twin (can be six foot double if requested), and finally a bunk bedded room. Washing machine, DVD, freezer, hairdryer, high chair availability, larder fridge, microwave, regret no smoking, pets, tumble dryer, radio, TV with freeview and Wi-fi. Fire fuel available for purchase locally, first supply free of charge. Inclusive of bed linen, towels, oil heating and electricity. Enclosed garden having furniture and patio. You will have time to enjoy the beautiful cottage garden as well as taking in some day tripping and touring. Great local bird watching and walking and many other outdoor pursuits as befits the area. Two pubs with dining within half a mile.
